Peonies and Astilbe

Peonies are becoming one of the most shown blooms on this blog, which suits me fine. Shown this time with astilbe, silver brunia and dusty miller. I must admit, I'm pretty happy about romantic flowers being trendy.

peonies and ranunculus

A familiar, pretty combination of peonies and ranunculus. If a flower, style or color story is particularly relevant It will show up here more often, it helps both brides and myself be more trend conscious. The bridal bouquet is of; pink peonies, white ranunculus and green button mums. The bridesmaids bouquet is a monobotanical arrangement of white ranunculus.

Taryn Waint

Here we have wonderful Taryn Waint with blush pink peonies. The bridesmaids also each carried a   different monobotanical bouquet of dahlias, hydrangeas, roses and ranunculus. We carried the theme over into the reception using milk glass vases collected by the girls. This gave us a unique, retro look that was both cohesive and personal. Congrats guys.

Blaine Evans and peonies

What a cutie! Her smile is the genuine article. If you're wondering why the bride is hiking up her skirt and the bridesmaids are looking down, it's to show off those jazzy kicks from last post.

peonies

My friend Amber swears she had permission to cut these peonies off of her neighbor's bush. I choose to believe her. Hang out, arrange flowers.
