Lavender

 The 2014 Pantone color of the year is "Radiant Orchid" (a slightly pink lavender,) and is a welcome addition to the blush bridal floral trend. Since blue is such a rarity in the floral kingdom, lavender brings a nice "cool down" to our color palette.
 Top - A hand tied bouquet of cool water roses, pink ranunculus, silver brunia and dusty miller.
Middle - An elevated centerpiece of hydrangeas, cool water roses, lavender carnations, phalaenopsis orchids (a great example of the Pantone color I mentioned,) dusty miller and bling.
Bottom - A different take on the centerpiece trio with lavender roses, gems and mokara orchids on green wire to give some movement to the design. A hip look for not a lot of money.

 A preview of the centerpieces for Ashley Lefarge's wedding. I should be able to get some great pics of these at the country club tomorrow.

Japanese shabby chic centerpiece

A single red rose atop a tripod of painted and distressed reeds with lily grass, tied with raffia and set in a glass ming bowl with river rocks. One of those wonderful moments when a bride is telling you her vision and you say "hold on, I  know just what you want." She clapped her hands in delight and laughed when I told her that the lily grass might get in the dessert. The most time consuming part of this design is waiting for the paint to dry.

Fall centerpiece

Beautiful fall table setting for Amy Kolb's wedding. Glads, roses, alstroemeria, seeded eucalyptus, curly willow and lily grass made in a design bowl and adhered to a pebble filled pilsner vase.

pink, orange and green bouquet

A very hot bridesmaid's bouquet of pink attache roses, orange mirage roses and green hypericum berries. The handle is finished with hot pink ribbon and wrapped with green wire. Only 3 elements but the contrasting colors make this a really effective bouquet - youthful and vibrant. Below is the bouquet with one of the sample centerpieces. There will be several other centerpiece styles in this wedding (with slightly different flowers) but all in this hot color scheme.

A clean trendy take on the table centerpiece. As long as there is unity in the design elements you can really have fun with this concept. Keep it simple.

Glacier

An arrangement of white gladiolus, lily grass seeded eucalyptus and Italian ruscus in a pilsner vase lit with submergable lights and filled with crystals. A very elegant centerpiece look.Shot at la Maison
