I cut these wonderful green parrot tulips last night from the yard, (they were completely closed) in the hopes that they would do their thing and yes, they were happier to see me than the cats (who, in their defense still had food.) Here they are in a milk pitcher on the back porch.
Those are fabulous! And I'm not that crazy about tulips. They look like something you should toss with olive oil and balsamic.
