Danielle Ledbetter

Obviously I'm a bit behind on posting, been a busy few months, (and Facebook does make a blogger lazy.) I'll try to catch up quickly before I get into Christmas posts. Here is Danielle Ledbetter and Co. in October. She carried a great bouquet of eggplant calla lilies, white polar star roses with hypericum berries. Her attendants carried terra cotta roses, leucdenron, lotus pods and green hypericum for some contrast. A few unexpected materials made for some texturally interesting fall bouquets. The leucadendron (safari sunset) also makes a handsome boutonniere.

Emily Clark

One of the hardest parts of writing this blog is coming up with new ways to say how beautiful these girls are. Here is the gorgeous Emily Clark rockin' red roses and eggplant calla lily realness. The bridesmaids are carrying red roses, purple stock and green hypericum berries that are perfect with their dresses. Great Mom, bride and girl posse. Happy brides help me sleep the sleep of the just.

le petit morte

Kellie Green holding a bouquet of Paris roses, eggplant callas and jewels at the bridal show yesterday being effortlessly sexy. Next a closeup of the bouquet and a couple of different centerpiece ideas. Gothic and rich. I love seeing period styles done neo-classical. So romantic and something you can look back on years from now and say "yeah, I was beautiful, classic and totally me."

eggplant and magenta

Beautiful and surprisingly fragrant magenta cymbidium orchids with the incredible "I'm bringin' sexy back" eggplant mini calla lily. Each cymbidium bloom is removed from a stem boasting 10 or more blooms and then individually wired into the bouquet. The black ribbon wrapped handle is finished with a strand of hand strung beads, a serious and gratifying endeavor.
