Faith Long
Lovely, kind and with a sweet Missouri Boot-heel accent that I could listen to all day every meeting with Faith was a joy. We created a straight up fall red and orange look for her that instead of being about texture was about shapes and color. Fall flowers can be elegant if you choose the right elements (again, choice is key.) Red roses, orange lilies and red gladiolas for the large piece. Thanks for having faith in me Faith!

Super green roses (yes that is their name,) lavender spray roses and blue holly thistle. Thanks to my facebook friends for their musical selections on a 3 wedding stressful day! All was beauty!

first of fall
A riff on the "summer's end" post made for Vashti Furrey. With stem dyed sunflowers, stem dyed solidago, montecasino asters, burgundy hypericum berries, safari sunset leucadendron and orange crocosmia makes this bouquet a great study in textures. Thank you Vashti for being a florissimo fan and congratulations to you and Dylan!

Aunt Gracie
Today we celebrated our absolutely incredible Aunt Gracie's 75th birthday! Gracie is a bright, insightful, brilliant person, brimming with joy and love. Her love for humanity is backed by a mighty spirit. You honor us. Her birthday bouquet is a hand-tied mix of: peach roses, lavender stock, limonium, celosia and zinnias. Bright, beautiful and feminine, just like her (top photo by Heather Handyside.)
