tulips and friends

Some flowers for a show at Summit Lake Winery in Holts Summit Missouri. Tulips, roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus and buplerum. Come on spring!

stargazers and gerberas

I've done several variations of the stargazer and stock combination on here, this time using mini gerberas instead of roses. The germinis give this fragrant, feminine bouquet a youthful feel.

magenta mini callas

Ivory vandela roses and magenta mini calla lilies (yes again.) I will abstain from preaching on the perfection of the mini calla this time, BUT I've done this combo in several colors and it's always a hit-just sayin'.

orange miracle

A vibrant bouquet of: orange "miracle" roses, hot pink spray roses, purple stock, green hypericum berries and green buplerum. Just about any bright color combination can be stepped up a notch with the addition of a bright green, plus I'm going through a buplerum phase.

narcissus

A pretty take on the all white bouquet: polar star roses, ranunculus, and wonderfully fragrant paper whites. Carrying white will always be in.

terra cotta

Lovely terra cotta roses and acacia.

keeping up appearances

A bouquet of purple lisianthus, lavender roses and lavender hyacinth. A calm, cool and fragrant combination of purple tones that ends up reading blue. While making this I kept doing impressions of Hyacinth Bucket (bottom photo) from the BBC sitcom "Keeping Up Appearances" about a status obsessed woman who insists her surname is pronounced "Bouquet," or you can think this is a picture of me dressed up for high tea.

smells like free spirit

The amazing free spirit rose paired with buplerum. With an extremely high petal count this rose opens beautifully, has a lovely light rose scent and colors that move from peach to orange to hot pink. The light green buplerum accents not only the color, but the ruffles of the spirits as well, just a great rose.

Some great pictures of my friend Kellyn Johnson. Her bouquet: ocean song roses, purple stock and purple dendrobiums. her assault rifle is an AR-15 and her legs are fabulous. I will do another post on the flowers, but these were just to good to resist.
