central missouri bride 3

Some shots from another great session for Central Missouri Bride magazine. The location is Westminster Church in Fulton Mo. Thanks to Travis Duncan's light skills the grey overcast day yielded some great shots! The model - Rachel Mills, hair and makeup by Catherine Crum, concept and styling by Stephanie Strobel. I'll post a link to Travis' blog when he gets some images up. The flowers: polar star roses and queen anne's lace, the handle of the bouquet and the neck of the vase are both finished with pearls.

tuxedo moon

White roses and stephanotis with black pins. Anther simple, sleek, simple beautiful bouquet. The black pins in the stephanotis and tux-style wrap help give this standard combination a neo-classiccal twist. Black and white is versatile, classy and cool. What I like to call an after 6:00 bouquet.

Preston-Wilcox Reception Pieces

A beautiful closeup of Katherine's bouquet. The centerpieces were a  mix  of cobalt vases she had collected over the years. Hydrangeas, roses, fuji mums and gerbera daisies. Hip and personal. I could do several more posts just to show how beautiful and handsome everybody was.

blush and white

A peek at Taryn Waint's bouquets. Blush pink peonies for the bride and monobotanical bridesmaids bouquets of white dahlias, roses and ranunculus. I didn't get all of the bouquets in this post and the centerpiece ideas are great. If my trend tracking is correct, this June bride is dead on. A sweet girl and a wonderful family from dad to dog. I feel a wedding crash coming on!

roses and lisianthus 2

While going through my flower photos I found this shot of one of my very early posts "roses and lisianthus centerpiece" 6/18/10. Though not as crisp as the original (and white on white is tough) being able to see the container makes the arrangement make more sense. When using a white container you should have white flowers in the arrangement so the flowers don't look like they are sitting on top of the container.
